Resisting ‘The Trump Agenda’ Is Now A University Course – Are You Registered? (VIDEO)

Are you looking to improve your activist skill set? Graduate students from Harvard have just launched a course in resisting “The Trump Agenda.” The course, officially called Resistance School,” is a four-week course in anti-Trump activism that was created by progressive students at the Kennedy School of Government.

Resistance School is a free four session practical training program to sharpen the tools we need to fight for our values at the federal, state, and local levels. Our goal is to keep the embers of resistance alive through concrete learning, community engagement, and forward-looking action.”

Resistance School begins tonight at 7:00 p.m.  and anyone can go online to stream the sessions. If you are lucky enough to live close to Harvard, you can attend the sessions in person as well. Go here to enroll.

People are strongly encouraged to enroll in groups instead of as individuals. Currently, there are about 4,000 groups registered for the first class.

Shanoor Seervai, co-founder and graduate student, said:

“Some are coming with groups of 700 people, some are smaller groups, potlucks, gathering in people’s kitchens.

Resistance School speakers include professors, the current DNC Vice Chair, and an Obama for America alumnus. The organizers are excited about the level of turn out so far and didn’t expect such a massive response.

Hopefully, this will be a powerful tool that can capitalize on the momentum already built from The Women’s March and the March for Science. Groups across the country have the opportunity to learn great skills and implement new ideas at such a critical time in our country’s history.

Everyone is invited to share the reason they are part of the resistance. Plan on participating in these powerful sessions each Wednesday evening.
