BREAKING: Flynn Will Plead The Fifth, Refuse To Talk To Senate Intel Committee (VIDEO)

The dominoes continue to fall in the Trump-Russia investigation. Today the President’s former pal Mike Flynn pushed another one over.

The Senate Intelligence Committee subpoenaed the former national security advisor to find out the details of his ties to the Russian government. Specifically, they want to find out what Flynn knew, and when he knew it, about Russia’s cyber interference in our election.

But this morning the Associated Press reported that General Flynn has decided not to testify before the Senate Committee. Instead he will invoke his Fifth Amendment rights.

This means that Flynn will not comply with the subpoena. Under the law, people involved in criminal or civil cases can refuse to testify if by doing so they would incriminate themselves.

Think about that for a minute.

The Senate wants to ask the fired national security advisor whether or not he worked with the Russians to mess up the American elections. They want to ask if he knew during the campaign that the Russians were trying to sway the election toward Donald Trump, the guy who later hired Flynn to a top administration post.

Flynn is refusing to testify, because if he answers their questions, he will likely incriminate himself.

Holy guilty.

The source who provided this information to the AP remains anonymous, but is said to be very close to the situation.

Legal experts are saying that it is likely Flynn will refuse to talk to any of the investigative committees or turn over his personal documents unless he is granted immunity.

More information is likely to come in the next few days as the various Trump-Russia investigations continue.
