Remember Milo Yiannopoulos? Breitbart‘s favorite troll suffered an Icarus-esque fall in February, after an old recording of him seemingly defending pedophilia culture surfaced and the Republican party dropped him immediately. He resigned his from his Breitbart job, his invitation to speak at CPAC was revoked, and publishing company Simon & Schuster dropped his $250,000 book deal for Dangerous.
The comment that initially got Yiannopoulos into hot water was the following, made in defense of high school boys who get into physical relationships with older men:
“In the homosexual world, particularly, some of those relationships between younger boys and older men — the sort of ‘coming of age’ relationship — those relationships in which those older men help those young boys discover who they are and give them security and safety and provide them with love and a reliable, sort of rock, where they can’t speak to their parents.”
The interviewer compares this to molestation by a priest, to which Yiannopoulos claimed:
“But you know what? I’m grateful for Father Michael. I wouldn’t give nearly such good head if it wasn’t for him.”
Phew. Finally, Milo crossed a line that everyone can agree… Wait, what? Dangerous, of course, became available for pre-order this week, and Slate reports that it even spent some time as #1 on Amazon’s best seller list on Tuesday.
Yiannopoulos has spent a ton of his time and energy building a trolling empire and hiding behind the idea of “free speech.” It seems that even condoning pedophilia, in addition to racist and sexist behavior, is not too much for this country as long as you piss off the “cuck libtards” enough. Dangerous releases on July 4. Make sure to not pick it up then. Watch the comments that were finally too much for the mainstream right below:
