The host of The Young Turks Cenk Uygur has made a video stating a prediction of an event that many people would welcome. Uygur begins the video by reminding us of his correct prediction that Donald Trump would win the Republican candidacy six months before the primaries. He also reminded us that he was also saying right up until the election, that Trump had a good chance of beating Hillary and was laughed at. Well now, in the wake of the Charlottesville nightmare, Uygur has predicted that Trump will resign soon in disgrace.
The reasoning behind his belief is simple. Uygur says quite simply, he has no allies left. Everyone has abandoned him.
The world was shocked this week when a ‘Unite the Right’ march in Charlottesville became violent and included the tragic loss of life of Heather Heyer, who bravely stood up to white supremacy and fascism. Nazi and Confederate flags were flown and horribly racist chants were heard as people walked through the streets.
Trump faced a lot of pressure to denounce the Nazism that had been so apparent at the march. At first Trump condemned hate on both sides. This outraged many people. It then took another two days until he actually named the hate group. It was as if he was forced to name White Supremacy and Nazism. What else do you call people marching with Swastikas?
These events have led to CEOs feeling pressured to abandon White House councils which have now been disbanded by Trump, seemingly to avoid the shame of them all leaving. Trump tweeted this:
Rather than putting pressure on the businesspeople of the Manufacturing Council & Strategy & Policy Forum, I am ending both. Thank you all!

As a result Uygur boldly states this about Trump’s future:
“He’s done. You can write it down in stone. He will not finish his first term.”
Uygur may well be right.
