This Week In The Trump Impeach-O-Meter (WITH PICTURES)

One of our favorite things to do is keep track of Slate’s Impeach-O-Meter, which tracks the likelihood that President Trump will either resign or be impeached before the end of his designated term in office. Last time we checked in for a laugh, the Russia investigation was the hot topic with all the news media, with even members of his own party admitting that Trump may not be exactly innocent.

Last week the Impeach-O-Meter saw a jump with Trump’s plans to eliminate DACA, the Obama-era program that allows undocumented individuals between the ages of 15 and 36 who were brought to the U.S. as children to receive legal protection from deportation and permits to work. Turns out that deporting hardworking young people who are completely innocent is not a popular move.

The best piece of information from the blog was taken from a Fox News poll.

Of the 13 words on that list, people surveyed felt that the word that least described Trump was “presidential.” And this isn’t MSNBC, this is Fox News, the home base of your average GOP voter. Notice how that word is in a tie with “moral leader?” That one made me chuckle too.

Impeach-O-Meter for this week: 62%
