With each passing day, it becomes clearer that Donald Trump is only interested in being president for the power of the office and the opportunity to further enrich himself and his family.
Appearing on MSNBC Sunday afternoon, Congressman Steve Cohen (D-TN) spoke for millions of Americans when he said this of Trump:
“Donald Trump is the most despicable human being to ever reside in 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
“A narcissistic sociopath doesn’t change. It endangers the country. And war…is something he could get into to improve the ratings for the [2018] elections, where they [Republicans] are in desperate shape.”
Trump and his surrogates already seem to be trying to provoke a war with both Iran and North Korea. Should their poll numbers continue to tank, war will become a greater possibility.
Cohen also posted his thoughts regarding Trump angling for war on Twitter:
He golfs when he could be reading or be in church or be with his family. Never see him with Barron. You’d think he’d be golfing with Dad occasionally but narcissists only engage in activities where they are the show. No movies, sports viewing either just Fox! He will start a war! https://t.co/RFuJksiQyk

Cohen introduced articles of impeachment against Trump in November, accusing Trump of being a grave danger to the United States, obstructing justice, and being in violation of the foreign emoluments clause of the Constitution, saying at the time:
“Given the magnitude of the constitutional crisis, there’s no reason for delay.”
In August, shortly after Trump’s comments about “fine people” on both sides of the protests in Charlottesville, Virginia, Cohen released a statement in which he strongly condemned Trump:
“Instead of unequivocally condemning hateful actions by neo-Nazis, white nationalists and Klansmen following a national tragedy, the president said ‘there were very fine people on both sides.’ There are no good Nazis. There are no good Klansmen.”
Donald Trump is indeed a threat to this country and the world. He may also be an agent of Russia, doing the bidding of Vladimir Putin because the Russian president has compromising information on him. If there was ever a time that a president needed to be replaced immediately, this is it. Trump is despicable and dangerous. His impeachment cannot happen soon enough.
