For weeks the National Rifle Association has been in a state of panic following the deadly school shooting that took place in Parkland, Florida at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on Valentines Day which took the lives of 17 innocent people. That’s because the surviving students and others around the world have organized to protest their twisted agenda during March For Our Lives events being held around the globe this weekend.
As a result, the NRA and it’s sycophantic enablers (like Donald Trump) have taken every step they could think of to discredit, threaten, and bully the parkland students and those who support them. However, each attempt has only served thus far to add fuel to the passionate fire burning in the hearts and souls of these brave children.
But now the NRA has finally hit the bottom of the barrel. In a vile attack ad released on Friday, just one day before the official start of the March For Our Lives protests, NRATV released “March For Their Lies,” an attack ad aimed directly at the parkland students.
In the ad, the NRA puts up their favorite African-American spokesperson Colion Noir to deliver their contemptable message.
Noir mentions the most recent school shooting at Great Mills High School in Maryland trying to once again sell the NRA’s tired “good guy with a gun” narrative by noting that it was a person with a firearm who took down the shooter. Of course, he fails to mention the fact that his “good guy with a gun” was a SWAT-trained school resource police officer named Deputy Blaine Gaskill.
The NRATV Host then mocks the parkland students stating that he wished they had someone like Deputy Gaskill protecting them that day “because your classmates would still be alive, and no one would know your names.”
He of course then went on to whine about the mainstream media.
“The media would have completely and utterly ignored your story,” Noir said, before falsely claiming that the media had not covered the school shooting in Maryland.
Noir continued exploiting the Maryland shooting as a golden example of how their “good guy with a gun” policy prevents the loss of life, stating that only the shooter died. However, just hours before the NRA released the video, 16-year old student Jaelynn Willey, one of the two people shot by the gunman, died from her gunshot wounds. Sadly, her death has yet to be acknowledged by the NRA, because it doesn’t quite fit their narrative.
The NRA host concludes by intensifying his attack on the March For Our Lives protests calling the participants “one-sided, logic-deprived, and intellectually dishonest” and describes the event as “festival masquerading as a march.”
He ends by challenging the motives of the young people participating in the protests, accusing them of wishing to “burn the Constitution and rewrite the parts that you all like in crayon.”

Not only is the man wrong, but he’s also a death-mongering dangerous idiot with a dangerous platform to spread lies and misinformation to an audience of poorly informed xenophobic mostly-white rural males who believe their status and way of life are under assault by imaginary left-wing shadow figures who operate the “Deep State.”
And while Noir continues to try and explain why his bosses aren’t a bunch of racist vultures, perhaps he could take the time to explain what the NRA did to the Black Panthers when much like the Bundy’s they once tried to exercise their 2nd amendment rights on government property.
In November, let’s remember Noir and his blood-soaked organization as we head to the ballot boxes to fire democracy’s most potent weapon straight into the rotten heart of the NRA.
