Nancy Pelosi Announces Her Support for Invoking the 25th Amendment (Video)

Two years ago, Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) told CNN Donald Trump’s isolated, erratic, and delusional behavior was presenting a dangerous situation.

Raskin, therefore, supported a bill to establish a bipartisan panel with Vice President Mike Pence to invoke the 25th amendment to the Constitution the remove Trump from office.

Well, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced on Thursday that she and Raskin will on Friday morning introduce a bill to create a commission to evaluate the president’s mental, physical, and emotional fitness.

Predictably, it triggered a Donald-Trump tweetstorm.

Despite repeated media exhortation, the White House refuses to report when Trump last tested negative for COVID-19, with which he was diagnosed last week and for which he spent the weekend imbibing thousands of dollars’ worth of antibody cocktails developed with aborted human fetal tissue-derived cells.

Although Trump’s behavior has typically been erratic the past three and a half years, he made the decision to kill any chance of a second round of pandemic-related economic stimulus until “after the election” the day after returning to the White House, still contagious, refusing to wear a face mask.

Then he did an abrupt volte-face Wednesday offering to “sign right now” a bill to approve immediate $1,200 stimulus checks.

Due to the dexamethasone steroids Trump’s doctors administered in the hospital and the drug’s side effects that include aggression, anxiety, irritability, depression, mood swings, and difficulty thinking, some are just now coming around to the possibility others considered before Trump took a blowtorch to democracy.

What took them so long?
