There are nurses who do their job. There are nurses who go above and beyond for their patients and have an emotional attachment to them. Nurses like that are hard to come by.?This nurse, however, is one of those nurses.
Bailey was suffering from complete paralysis from the waist down. She was paralyzed for 11 days. Doctors really had no clue what was behind Bailey’s paralysis. However, the paralysis disappeared and she could walk again.
As her favorite nurse came on shift, she still didn’t know Bailey could walk. So, Bailey let her know and surprised her in the best way she could. Bailey stood up to give her a hug.
Screaming in surprise, the nurse’s reaction will bring tears to your eyes. It brought tears to the eyes of Bailey and also of her fellow coworkers standing around watching and waiting. And yes, it brought tears to my eyes too.
