Carly Fiorina Gives Voice To Anti-Choice Robo-Calls

Carly Fiorina continues her fight against women’s reproductive rights. The Republican presidential hopeful made headlines after the September GOP debate, when she described a video in which Planned Parenthood workers supposedly admitted to harvesting the brain of an aborted fetus. The problem with that ‘smoking gun’ evidence of Planned Parenthood wrongdoing was simple: It did not exist. In the aftermath of the debate, fact-checkers slammed Fiorina for lying about a video to smear the women’s health provider.

Later, radical abortion opponents released a video that was supposed to back Fiorina’s claims. Fiorina’s vindication was not to last long, however, because experts ripped apart the video as misleading and concluded it did not substantiate her drastic debate claims.

Nevertheless, Fiorina has remained true to her harsh anti-abortion stance (which includes demanding taxpayer funding for Crisis Pregnancy Centers, fake clinics which use scare tactics to keep women from having abortions )

She has now taken her battle on women’s right to choose to California. In the Golden State, pro-lifers have initiated a new campaign to introduce a ballot proposition next election that would force minors seeking abortions to get parental consent before having the procedure.

Carly Fiorina has given her voice to record a standardized message that is being distributed to millions of California households via robocalls. The group behind the ballot measure, Californians for Parental Rights, has shown a striking determination to push this through, despite the proposition already having failed four times in the past years.

The unlikelihood of the measure succeeding and the lack of media advertising has led some to speculate that the measure has a different purpose: drain funds from groups like Planned Parenthood. The ballot measures have forced Planned Parenthood and others to spend millions of dollars to fight them, taking up valuable resources.

And Carly Fiorina seems to view this a perfect opportunity to advertise her opposition to abortion. Annoyed Californians are meanwhile using social media to vent their frustration over her unwanted phone calls
