14 Reasons Millennials Love Bernie Sanders (VIDEO)

1. Bernie Sanders is against the status quo and wants to change a system that is broken.

2. He is against establishment politics, which directly relates to the status quo. This resonates with Millennial’s that understand the current political system has been bought and does not support the people’s interests.

3. He’s against Super PACS and big monied interests in politics and refuses campaign funds from them. To Millennial’s, this means he’s the only presidential candidate that is not bought.

4. He believes in Education as a Right,

And

5. Healthcare as a Right, a Medicare for all health care systems.

6. Not only does he believe education as a right, he is for free college and universities. This will be paid for by a tax on Wall Street speculation.

7. Bernie Sanders wants to raise the minimum wage to a livable wage, an issue that affects Millennial’s more today than in previous generations.

8. He’s for leading the fight against big businesses and Wall Street and their “too big to fail” business models.

9. Millennial’s understand the data is out and incarceration rates cannot be ignored. Bernie Sanders is for Criminal Justice Reform. He’s against for-profit prisons and believes youth should no longer fall victim to the school to prison system.

10. Bernie Sanders understands that climate change is an existential threat that will largely affect the younger generations far more than it will any other demographic. They believe he’s the candidate that will effectively enact these necessary changes.

11. He’s a huge supporter of Unions and workers right to Unionize, regardless of working in fast-food, retail or any other type.

12. He has continued to fight for civil rights, since he protested racial segregation in Chicago, IL during the 1960s. When asked at the first democratic, presidential debate, “Do Black Lives Matter or do All Lives Matter?” Without hesitation he answered, “Black Lives Matter.”

13. Sanders voted against the Iraq War, remaining on the right side of history. Millennial’s understand that the war was a complete mistake and their generation are the ones that have to face the consequences.

14. He is the only candidate that has been politically consistent on all the major issues since the beginning of his career. That is over 50 years of consistency and experience. This makes him the most appealing and trustworthy candidate to date.
