Robin Thicke’s Sexist ‘Blurred Lines’ Is Humorously Redefined By Feminist Group (VIDEO)

A little reverse-sexism, to make a statement, never hurt anyone, right? The people at YouTube weren’t so sure.

After public outrage over the blatant sexism in Robin Thicke’s music video,?Blurred Lines, a group of clever women in New Zealand decided to not only speak out – they decided to sing out in protest. The three women wrote, performed, and filmed a parody to?Thicke’s Blurred Lines, called, Defined Lines. Their video was well done and their point well taken…right off YouTube. Yep,YouTube banned it for its, get this, ‘inappropriate content.’

Of course, we all had to wonder ?if the folks at YouTube had even?viewed?Robin Thicke’s video (or the bulk of their own YouTube videos). Both cut and uncut versions of Blurred Lines include beautiful young nude or scantily-clothed women dancing for fully dressed men. Throw in some women playing with animals, and you have yourself a shockingly somewhat degrading sexist video.

Needless to say, YouTube’s ban of the feminist parody,?Defined Lines,?did not go over too well with women (and many men) around the world. The video was brought back, and has since gone viral. It’s not hard to see why. The clip is not only funny as hell, the song is incredibly catchy and aurally pleasing.

Here is the Defined Lines video:

Pandoras Well (also known as Pan) gets his name from his Native American ancestry. He lives in?southern Arizona with loved ones, and?independently?studies theology, human?behavior, political science, and the ridiculous.
