Homelessness is an epidemic in this country that plagues nearly a million people. At least 300,000 of those people are our brave and heroic veterans of the Armed Services. ?One in particular, Jim Wolf, a United States Army veteran, knows too much about the life of a homeless man, and an addiction to alcohol.
However, on one beautiful day, Jim Wolf learned something new; that a little bit of love from others can change your entire world. No, Jim wasn’t given a new home or a million dollars, he was given a renewed sense of himself, something that was more than just material possessions, it was something that would give him the confidence to break from the cycle and improve his quality of life.
Degage Ministries, Design 1 Salon & Spa, and Rob Bliss Creative received Mr. Wolf’s agreement to undergo a charitable makeover. The makeover in itself is miraculous, but what happens after the makeover is a true statement of the human spirit.
This video should remind each of us that just a little love and attention to someone struggling can move them to a new and better life.
