If you were watching the MTV EMA’s last week you might have noticed that Miley Cyrus’s acceptance speech was kind of short. In reality, it was a little longer than what they wanted the American public to see.
The show began with a bang, filled with the normal Miley antics while she performed both ?Wrecking Ball? and ?We Can’t Stop.? These numbers were full of her famous tongue exposure and twerking, a dance move she performed with both an alien and a ?cosmic dwarf.?
The awards were held in Amsterdam and filled with pot smoking antics including a montage where Ron Burgundy accidentally wandered into a caf? and ate a pot brownie. However, nothing was more Amsterdam-like than when Miley, during her acceptance speech for best video,?lit up a joint?and puffed away onstage.
The show aired hours later on American TV where they edited the footage, leaving out the toking scene, and cutting Miley’s speech almost completely out. MTV’s website stated that Miley was indeed smoking pot onstage, but there has been no word from MTV on why they cut the footage from American broadcast.
Miley’s shocking antics never seem to slow down, and leave us wondering just what will the girl do next time she’s on the stage.
