Video Captures TX Police Officer Doing Something Unexpected With A Kid

There’s a faction of us in the U.S. who still believe in heroes and who want to believe that the men and women who are supposed to protect us will really do so. In spite of the bad and corrupt cop stories, some of us do look for the best in police officers and we realize that the many good stories that far outweigh the negative stories don’t get shared — but the negative stuff gets a lot of attention. That is why stories like this are special to us and it’s also why they beg to be shared. When a Rosenberg, TX police officer pulled into an apartment complex and saw a young boy playing alone with a football, he pulled over and threw the ball for a few minutes. It was captured on the dashboard camera of the squad car. The police department says that this kind of activity is a part of their deliberate efforts to outreach to youth in the Rosenberg community. As the Rosenberg Police Department said on their Facebook page:

While a 2 minute game of football might not mean anything, to some it could mean everything!
