On Tuesday morning, a top White House official traveled to Maryland to celebrate Obamacare’s seven millionth enrollment.

American Urban Radio Networks White House correspondent April Ryan obtained audio?on Tuesday of White House Chief Technology Officer Todd Park popping champagne in the parking lot of the Maryland-based QSSI headquarters. QSSI is the contractor who was hired by the Obama administration to fix the Healthcare.gov website problems.

The celebration was held in the parking lot of the QSSI headquarters because employees are not allowed to drink alcohol inside the building. Park told QSSI staff:

?There was a number that was set out by the Congressional Budget Office as a goal,? Park told the QSSI staff. ?For the health care marketplace it was 7 million ? Everyone thought that was impossible, especially after the rocky start. And I am proud to tell you all, and you’re the first to know ? that y?all have carried the ball over the impossible line. You actually exceeded the 7 million enrollees.?

Todd Park led the White House’s efforts to fix the website after it’s near disastrous start.

Obamcare reached seven million signups around midnight on Monday as the official enrollment period came to a close.
