Photographer Sarah Lee has taken a photo series of army ration packs around the world. The project, commissioned by The Guardian, shows stark differences between various countries and highlights the diversity in food preferences.
They may not look like anything special, but according to The Guardian, the U.S. and other countries pour billions of dollars into these technologically impressive ration packs. As Napolean Bonaparte said “an army marches on its stomach.” I think being a soldier in Singapore is one of the worst things ever. 🙁
