BuzzFeed’s Andrew Kaczynski reports that a CNN/ORC poll released Wednesday reveals that?while 80 percent of Americans believe that no one survived Malaysia Airlines flight 370, a shocking nine percent of Americans believe that?”space aliens, time travelers or beings from another dimension” may have been involved in the plane’s disappearance.?
The big news headline, of course, was “Nearly 80% of Americans think no one survived Flight 370,” but yeah, they really did put that question about aliens on the poll. Here’s a screenshot of it:
We aren’t surprised that there are Americans who believe that it’s possible that Flight 370 was abducted by aliens. What we’re confused about is why a “reputable” news agency like CNN would put this question on a serious, scientific poll. R.I.P. Serious News.
