In today’s ?What The Heck Is Wrong With People” news, I submit for your approval this little ditty. Shona Carter-Brooks of Tennessee walked down the aisle proudly dragging her one-month-old baby girl strapped to her dress to say “I do.”

BuzzFeed stated:

?A Tennessee woman has come under fire for her decision to attach her newborn daughter to the train of her wedding dress and drag her as she walked down the aisle.?

Of course, Carter-Brooks has sparked controversy and outrage in her wardrobe choices. Online comments have been made stating that she should have family services called on her.

The MailOnline stated:

?Criticisms of the act ranged from ?classless? to ?incredibly dangerous?, which many saying the child could have suffered carpet burn from being dragged along the floor of the Elam Baptist Church in Ripley.?

Let’s not consider the fact that a 1-month-old child has a fragile head and is just beginning to strengthen their neck.

Carter-Brooks has defended her decision to let her little one tag along behind her over social media sites. Here are some of her posts from her Facebook page.

?People questioning what we do, commenting all negative, and just doing the most.?

?We good though we covered by the Blood which never loose its power.?

?The answer is we do what we want, when we want, as long as Jesus on our side everything worked out fine and gona continue to be fine.?

?So keep ya mouths running for it was just that Exclusive and Epic enough we made top blog way from small town Ripley, TN and the social media doing what they do, TALK!!!!?

?Too bless for mess!! Thank God we aint no celebrities ooops got fans, guess we is!?

No, those aren’t typos.

On another interesting note, Carter-Brooks has also made claims that her wedding dress is Vera Wang; however, the company has spoke to The MailOnline and has denied it is from any of their collections.

Including your children in a wedding is a very special thing to do indeed. However, I’d really like to know who thought dragging (literally) a baby down the aisle was a good idea.
