The Duchess of Cambridge?and Prince William, both 32, are?giving the adorable little Prince George a sibling. The official announcement out of Clarence House read:
“Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their second child,” said the official announcement Monday morning.
“The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news.”
Congratulations and well wishes have poured in:
I’m not much of a celeb watcher, nor a Royals watcher, but….I loved Princess Diana. I’d like to say that my interest in her was all about her altruism, but it was more than that. She was the fairy tale princess of my generation. Her wedding marked the only time in my life I’ve ever stayed up all night to watch something on TV. I just think she was a lovely person in so many ways and I have genuinely enjoyed watching her sons grow into men. What’s not to love about these guys?
My delight was validated when Prince William chose the lovely and non-pretentious Kate Middleton as his bride. What an awesome, modern young couple, eh?
OK I’ve gushed enough.
This baby will become fourth in line to the throne, which will move poor Prince Harry even further down the line for succession (I don’t think he cares). Who wants an adorable little princess who looks just like Kate? I do!
Duchess Kate is suffering from acute morning sickness, just as she did whilst pregnant with Prince George. (note my little insertion of “whilst” in this article. Ha.)
