Ever since the Sony hacking incident, many officials and media figures have been a bit on the paranoid side about what the reclusive and hostile Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea — more commonly referred to as North Korea — is capable of. However, evidence suggests that the Sony hacking and empty threats is the only thing they can put together. Here is some of that evidence in my 10 reasons why they are a joke.

10.Their computer and internet technology is frozen in time in the year 1994.

And thats not even a full fleet. Wikipedia states that the Korean People’s Naval Force is a brown water navy. That means their ships cannot even make it from one coast to another in their own country’s seas. Good luck making good on those threats of an invasion, Kim.
8.?Those big scary missiles they show off in their parades are most likely fake. Why did the chicken cross the road? To get away from the DPRK’s long range missiles.
7.?The way the DPRK trains its “elite” soldiers is nothing more than a regiment ridiculous martial arts spectacles, physical pain, and blind obedience.
The man in the video is correct when he says “a handgun can’t win a war”. However, its safe bet smashing bricks over one’s head doesn’t quite get the job done either. The way the US Army trains its troops for their most elite combat unit — the? 75th Ranger Regiment?– makes the DPRK look downright cartoonish.
6.?What they try to pass off as entertainment is just awful.
Hell, their serious military marches make Gangnum Style appear less ridiculous in comparison. This “comedy” sketch sponsored by the DPRK defies the laws of physics by somehow managing to be twice as annoying as Carrot Top, Pauly Shore, and Tom Green combined
5.?Their Propaganda makes Tea Party rhetoric seem almost rational in comparison.
4.?Their worship of their leaders? manages to out-crazy the American Christian Right — and that is not an easy thing to?do.
3. Their ground forces and small arms haven’t really changed since 1950.
It is also very probable that their weapons are so outdated ammunition is extremely scarce. They also seem to be lacking the technology and equipment to produce their own arms and ammo on a mass scale.? Their propaganda videos show nothing but outdated weapons and tactics. Compared to the US who use modern weapons and training.The DPRK, going toe to toe with the United States, is quite possibly the dumbest thing they could ever do. Okay maybe not as dumb as this.
2.?Their Air Force can’t even spring for a decent paint job let alone reliable up to date aircraft.
I’ll admit as Army Infantry grunts my battle buddies and I used to say not so nice things about the US Air Force due to a long standing rivalry between our respective branches. With that said after seeing this video of the North Korean Air Force in action I don’t think I’ll ever do that again. Because this is what our Air Force can do to those crappy little crop dusters without a single US pilot having to leave the ground
1.?And finally, anyone who makes empty threats at us and expects us the American people to be afraid is a joke.
We are not perfect, but we are strong and resilient. You cannot judge the people of? America based on right-wing demagogues and greedy CEOs who care more for profit than what’s right.
Also the men and women of our armed forces are not only better equipped and trained, but they voluntarily serve because they believe in their country — not because they are brainwashed and intimidated like the North Korean Military.
Our nation has overcome a lot in our 238-year existence.?I’m no American exceptionalist. I acknowledge what we have done wrong in our history. However, I do know that unlike the DPRK, there are always brave men and women who have the courage to get us back on the right path. There may be only one thing liberals and conservatives can agree on and that is Kim Jong Un and his brainwashed lackeys can kindly go f*** themselves.
