Lesbian Coast Guard Couple Allegedly Gunned Down By Male Ex Co-Worker Adrian Loya

Adrian Loya

In what can be described as a well thought out deliberate attack, 31-year-old U.S. Coast Guardsman Adrian Loya allegedly gunned down two ex co-workers in their Bourne, Mass. home. The two victims, one of which Loya was reportedly obsessed with, are a married lesbian couple that also serve the U.S. Coast Guard as Petty Officers.

While 30-year-old Anna Trubnikova was seriously wounded, tragically, her 31-year-old spouse Lisa Trubnikova was killed in the attack. According to lgbtnation.com, Adrian Loya had been ?pursuing Lisa for years? while all three were stationed in Kodiak, Alaska.

Also reported is that Loya evidently drove from Massachusetts days before the attack and rented a motel room near Anna and Lisa’s condominium. Loya did not come empty handed though. He was apparently armed with a 9mm handgun, a shotgun, and two rifles.

While no motive has been officially announced for the attack on Feb. 5, CBS Boston describes an ambush type situation which resulted in a 30-minute shootout with the suspect. An altercation that resulted in officer Jared McDonald being shot in the back. McDonald has since undergone surgery and is in stable condition.

It seems that Loya set fire to a car once officers arrived on the scene to keep them from getting to the house where Anna and Lisa Trubnikova lived. After the shootout, the State Police Bomb Squad also had to be called in to remove bomb-like devices on the scene.

U.S. Coast Guard Rear Adm. Linda Fagan gave this statement regarding the incident:

?We extend our heartfelt thanks to those in the community and the Coast Guard family who stand alongside us as we mourn the tragic loss of Petty Officer 2nd Class Lisa Trubnikova and wish the speedy recovery of Petty Officer 3rd Class Anna Trubnikova and Officer Jared MacDonald.?

Was Adrian Loya obsessed with a woman he couldn’t have? Was he upset that he was passed over for a woman? Whatever his motives, he has changed many lives forever, and robbed this country of one of it’s finest that swore to protect this nation.
