The importance of a first kiss, Duggar-style
The band 1Direction has a song called?“The Last First Kiss.” The song itself is?about a first kiss, and wanting that to be the last ‘first kiss.’ The importance of that first kiss can make or break a relationship. Sometimes there are fireworks. Sometimes there is awkwardness. Sometimes it is just pure bliss, but you know deep down it won’t last. Sometimes it just plain sucks.
If you are a Duggar, apparently, you only get ONE?first kiss, EVER.
On a recent episode of “19 Kids and Counting,” the popular show chronicling the Duggar family, parents?Jim Bob?and?Michelle counseled their daughter, Jenna, and her betrothed, Ben, on the fine art of kissing. They even went so far as to offer a demonstration after a brief discussion on technique.
The young couple has decided to wait for their first kiss until their wedding day, which has since passed, but the episode was taped earlier, so on the show they haven’t tied the knot yet.
I don’t know about the rest of you, but if I intended to marry someone, I would really want to know if their kissing was acceptable or really disgusting.

You wait for that first kiss. Eagerly anticipating that magical moment on your wedding day. He bends, you lean up and into him, and? . . .
Ewwww! Gross! It felt like he was trying to suck?your face off!?Now you’re?married to a flipping vacuum cleaner! And now he’s going to expect?you to have SEX with him!! And you’re going to have to actually pretend that you’re enjoying it!
It might be time to get out those paint swatches and start figuring out what color you want to paint the ceiling.
