The Houston Chronicle is reporting?today that Sen. Ted Cruz will be declaring a presidential bid at a speaking event at Liberty University in Virginia on Monday. This would make him the first?GOP hopeful to announce a serious bid.
According to advisers,?Cruz will not be forming the ?exploratory committees? that GOP hopefuls have been talking about. He will make his bid ?outright,? according to the senior advisers.
Late Sunday night, Cruz tweeted his official announcement and attached the first cheezy campaign video of the 2016 presidential election.
