ISIS Plot

The first terrorist, John T. Booker, Jr. (20) also known as Mohammed Abdullah Hassan?was arrested Friday. He is the primary force in a terrorist plan of attack. He intended to martyr himself by detonating a manned vehicle suicide bomb according to an FBI source.

Second ISIS Terrorist

The second suspect, Alexander Blair (28) was arrested later Friday. He is also a resident of Topeka. And according to KSHB-TV he has been charged of ?one count of failing to report a felony.?

An U.S. Attorney criminal complaint indicated that Blair was aware of Booker’s terrorist intent. The plan was for Booker to drive a vehicle on the Ft. Riley Army base and detonate a suicide bomb. Blair’s crime was a failure to inform officials with knowledge of a terrorist attack.

Blair also participated in the attack to the extent of lending Booker the money he needed to rent a storage locker. Booker purchased the components to build his suicide bomb and stored them in the storage locker.

According to KSHB-TV,

?Court documents claim ?Blair shared some of Booker’s extremist views? concerning committing?jihad against U.S. citizens.

?The report said Blair admitted to knowing of Booker’s plot in an interview with the FBI, and said he knew all about the preparation involved in the attack.?

Apparently Blair told the bomber to limit his communications about his terrorist plan, so that he wouldn’t be caught by authorities. Blair was either too late with his advice or Booker ignored his admonitions.

Charges For ISIS Plot

Booker?s charges include,

?Attempting to use a weapon of mass destruction, to damage property by means of an explosive and to provide material support to the Islamic State.?

Booker faces life in prison.?And Blair faces three years in prison for his involvement in the attack. The inquiry is still under investigation.
