Man Held On $1Million Bail For Punching Toddler Son In The Face (Video)

A Bakersfield, California, father is being held on $1 million bail after a video surfaced of him punching his toddler son in the face inside a convenience store.

Justin Whittington has been charged with?child endangerment. The 23-year-old’s son was examined by medical professionals and did not require hospitalization.

In the video, Whittington can be seen chasing the child through the aisles of the store and then punching the boy in the face. Whittington then grabs the boy by his arm, jerks him to his feet, and hands the child to a woman who appears to be pregnant. The woman leaves the store with the little boy.

The video was posted online by store employees and one man who viewed the attack,?Chris Danaher, contacted a local TV station. The hunt was then on for the man seen in the video assaulting the helpless boy.

Danaher said he was disgusted by what he saw, remarking:

?His wife or girlfriend or whatever is clearly pregnant. And she had no regard for it. She picked up her son and left the store.”

According to a local newspaper,?Daily News,?there is also security camera footage of?Justin Whittington?grabbing the boy by one leg and ?apparently yelling in his face? while holding him in the air by one leg.

The manager of the convenience store,?Harry Dindral, said he saw what transpired and it shocked him:

?That was horrible, man, the worst thing I’ve ever seen.?You don’t hit a child like that.”
