I wish I could understand why it is that whenever President Obama or the First Lady say the slightest thing about race, Republicans, right wingers, and just plain old morons with no idea what it means to sympathize with another person feel the need to attack them in such horrible, usually personal, ways.
Over the weekend, the First Lady gave the commencement address at Tuskegee University. She spoke?in part about what it had been like to be the first black woman to be First Lady, ?and no sooner had she finished her speech when Twitter began to light up with ugly, hateful posts. Here are a few of the most ridiculous:

If you find these posts to be half as offensive as I do, then I urge you to use the links to these narrow-minded haters on Twitter and tell them how you feel about their comments. They need to know that they’re what’s wrong with America and that we’ve got the First Lady’s back.
