Husband Refuses To Do Chores, So Wife Shoots Him–Says She Was ‘Well Within Her Rights’

Guys, I have some advice that we all need to heed: When the lady you love asks you to help around the house, don’t argue, don’t delay, and don’t just ignore her. If you do, she might just put one hell of a hurting on you.

A Marysville, Washington man learned that his wife meant business when she asked him to do some household chores. The woman,?Starlene Roth, picked up a gun and shot her husband because, she said, she was frustrated with him not helping her around the house. Ms. Roth has been charged with attempted murder.

Police say Mr. Roth informed them he had recently been released from the hospital where he received treatment for hepatitis and his wife was mad at him because??he hadn’t been able to do anything around the house.?

According to the husband’s recollection of the events, his wife threw a vase at him Saturday night, ?then pushed over their barbeque grill while he was cleaning up the glass. When he attempted to picked up the grill, she pushed it over again, he said.

That should have been a warning sign for Mr. Roth, but the situation escalated from there.

Mr. Roth alleges that he was in the house when his wife went to the bedroom and brought back a 9mm handgun which she pointed at him and fired once. As she did so, she told him:

?Get the (expletive) out of the house.”

When questioned by police on the shooting, Ms. Roth admitted that she “blew up” at her husband and that she just “wanted him to pay.”

The woman, according to court documents, also said she:

“Doesn?t think she did anything wrong and she was well within her rights because of how (her husband) was reacting and she was so pissed off.?

Ms. Roth is being held on attempted murder charges with a bail of $250,000.

Gentlemen who are reading this, I urge you to heed my advice and go do some dusting, vacuuming, dishwashing, or all three of these and more. It’s got to be better than staring down the barrel of a gun
