13-year-old Tatyana Harris is a student at?Oxford Middle School in Michigan. She was minding her own business recently?when an 8th grade white male student who describes himself as being??extremely racist? approached her and began to say some of the most vile and hurtful things one human being can say to another.
Tatyana recalls the incident:
?I was minding my own business ? I had my phone, I had my headphones in ? I was minding my own business and then he came over and snatched the headphones out of my ear.?
The white student then began his assaults by calling Harris a:
“N*gger cotton picker.”
But this 14-year-old steaming heap of cow dung wasn’t quite finished doing his damage, and he then proceeded to violently push the helpless girl, forcing her to hit her head. A doctor later told Tatyana that she had suffered a concussion. The boy also took a swing at Harris, as you can see in the cell phone video below.
Oxford Middle School principal?Dacia Beazley, who has also seen the video, remarked:
?I couldn’t watch it. It was disturbing; I cried because it hurt.?
The student who assaulted Ms. Harris is not in school and has been disciplined. The school could not release his name because he is a minor.
Principal Beazley added that she and teachers at the school made a point of telling other students that bullying is not acceptable and will not be tolerated at the school.
The student who assaulted Harris may also face criminal charges, though a decision on that has not yet been made by authorities.
