My take on the matter is that if wearing makeup helps one feel more confident and have better self-esteem, then who are we to stop them??

Earlier Tuesday De Jager did something quite courageous on Good Morning America. She left one side of her face naked, natural if you prefer. Then she turned the other side of her face into that of a magazine cover model. The difference was simply breath-taking!
?I think a natural face is absolutely beautiful. Everyone is gorgeous with and without makeup. I think everyone should love themselves for who they are, what they look like. It’s just that makeup can be so much fun to play around with.?
People tell her she looks slimmer in her videos than in real life. And De Jager agrees. But how does she manage to drop weight and acquire striking cheekbones at the same time?

The answer is simple: contouring. She applies it in a line beneath her actual cheekbone and beneath her jawline. Have a double chin? No worries, just bring out the contouring brushes.
De Jager is an unadulterated lover of makeup even if she doesn’t wear it every day. She came into the studio this morning ? possibly from the gym, fresh-faced and natural. And that De Jager is attractive in the wholesome way she calls the ‘raw-unedited version.’
What’s Her Secret?
So how does she do it? She applies a foundation to ?photo-shop? her complexion. Then De Jager whisks dark circles away with a concealer. Her not-there eyebrows suddenly appear in the right place and right shape.
This makeup artist thinks that her eyes are slightly smaller than she would like. So she builds a new eye shape with the magic of liners, highlighters, and gold shading. Then she puts on the false eye lashes and adds on a touch of glitter to ‘sparkle it up.’
A bronzer will give us the kiss of the sun without the damage of its rays. And speaking of kisses, she outlines her lips giving herself a fuller lipline than nature did. Then she applied lipstick followed by nude gloss
De Jager’s before-and- after contrast is simply amazing. Who knew a woman could become absolutely, stunningly beautiful? Okay, half stunning. The other half of her face is left alone to remind us where she started.
