As Ted Cruz was showing off his oh-so-elegant Tea-Party culinary skills at the Iowa State Fair, he was confronted about a very real issue by the one and only, beautiful Ellen Page. Ellen Page was confronting him about the discrimination of the LGBTQ+ community on her LGBT travel series entitled Gaycation with Ellen Page for Vice Media.

As we all know Ted Cruz, among ALL other Republicans, doesn’t do well when confronted with real issues. So after being asked: “What about the question about LGBT people being fired for being gay-trans?” by Ellen Page, Cruz proceeded to spill a disgusting, albeit hilarious and predictable, word-soup all over poor Ellen Page before she would really smack him down.

Cruz stated:

“What we’re seeing right now, we’re seeing Bible-believing Christians being persecuted for living according to their faith.”

Then Page owns Cruz to the point that he is unable to respond by saying:

“You’re discriminating against LGBT people. Would you use that argument in segregation?

Cruz says he doesn’t wan’t to debate and proceeds to spill more word soup. But we all really know that the reality is that he couldn’t muster up a response that doesn’t involve him agreeing that LGBTQ+ discrimination is alright.

Not surprisingly, during the interaction he kept cooking his pork chops. Ted Cruz really has a fascination with making cooking seem creepy. If you don’t believe me check out this video where he cooks bacon on a machine gun. Yeah that’s right.
