There is a new viral video charming the web. It features a little Chinese girl, who’s maybe six or seven years old. She appears to be a contestant on some kind of talent show.
In her act, she proves that she can hypnotize several animals. There’s a very cute puppy, a green lizard, a bunny, a chicken, and a frog.
These animals go into a deep sleep, and it’s amazing to watch not just the act but her complete calm control when a few start to wake up. She just calmly goes back over and regains control. I’m sure there are some very high powered neurosciences at play here, probably involving the tone of her voice and her touch.
I can imagine that there are a few people who would love to learn that trick in order to get a good night’s sleep. Maybe one day we will have the technology that can emulate this little girl’s talent.
