Los Angeles comedian Josh Androsky decided he’d had more than enough of hearing Texas Senator and 2016 GOP Presidential candidate Ted Cruz threaten to defund Planned Parenthood and might even be willing to shut down the government if he didn’t get his way.

But Androsky didn’t just get mad. He got even.

Androsky explains his motivation:

“I think the reason this has resonated with people is because this Republican field is so cartoonish. They’re monsters and they’re dangerous, sure, but it’s so over-the-top now that it’s so easy to push it into comedy. Ted Cruz is truly evil. Why not combat it with targeted silliness?”

So the comedian then began posting memes–like the one above– mocking the senator. Here’s some of Androsky’s tweets with which he announced his social media campaign against Teddy Boy Cruz:

Androsky was hoping Cruz would block him on Twitter, and even offered to contribute $100 a friend had bet him if he would. When Cruz didn’t, check out what Androsky did:

So far, Androsky has raised about $1,200, all of which he plans to donate to Planned Parentood, which is a beautiful way to get back at Cruz and also help an organization which does so many wonderful things for women’s health.

Donors have also been leaving contributions in the name of “the time Ted Cruz pouted for a week because his wife wouldn’t sleep in the garage when she was on her period,” and also for:

Moral of the story: Never piss off a comedian who knows how to use Twitter.
