Next time Rupert Murdoch decides to take to Twitter, he might want to consider having an editor look at what he’s just typed before he hits the TWEET button. Why? Well, take a look at the online message he sent out yesterday:
Then, as if realizing what he had done, King Rupert followed up with this missive:
Read New York magazine for minority community disappointment with POTUS

But it was far too late. Twitter users were primed and ready to call Murdoch out for his “real black President” remarks, and here’s a sampling of what they said in response:
So what, exactly, does @rupertmurdoch mean by “a real black President”? https://t.co/1p9SksB2FC

After the excrement had already hit the fan and Murdoch came to realize what a major mess he’d made, he attempted to walk it back with this tweet:
Apologies! No offence meant. Personally find both men charming.
— Rupert Murdoch (@rupertmurdoch) October 8, 2015
Sorry, Rupert, the damage has already been done. Someone needs to take your access to the Internet away before you start World War III by saying you personally like Vladimir Putin but find him to be kind of effeminate at times.
