Westboro Baptist Church Tells ‘Fake Christian’ Kim Davis To Issue Same-Sex Marriage Licenses

Chastising her as a “fake Christian” because she has been married four times, the Westboro Baptist Church is now calling on Rowan County, Kentucky, clerk Kim Davis to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples. In a statement issued Thursday, the church proclaimed:

“The Supreme Court, in the providence of God, and for the punishment of this nation, has declared that same-sex marriage IS the law of Doomed USA. So DO IT!! You asked for it, you begged for it by your disobedience and refusal to receive correction or instruction, so take it and like it!”

However, if you’re thinking this is some kind of a radical shift in attitude on the part of Westboro Baptist, rest assured they are just as hateful and deserving of scorn as usual. The church still doesn’t believe in same-sex unions, but they just despise Davis so much that they also noted in their statement:

“Kim claims that she has lived in proud sin for many years, divorcing and remarrying, not one time or two times, in fact you need a score card to keep track. Her lawyers, being smooth talking fellows say that all that was before her call to salvation two years ago when her current mother-in-law died. Nice, tidy, clever, but no cigar!”

Westboro, with their notorious reputation for hating all things related to equal rights for LGBT Americans, is also considering protesting outside Davis’ office. And they argue that Davis should be “apologizing to the f*gs” for enabling them to wed.

I never thought it would be possible to see Kim Davis in a favorable light, but when the Bible-thumping minions of hate from Westboro have a problem with you, it might be time to feel some sympathy for the subject of their ire.

Then again, looking at the situation with objectivity, it becomes clear that both Davis and Westboro Baptist are hypocritical pieces of dung who deserve nothing but our disdain and disgust.
