
Jeb Bush just seems to keep sinking in the polls with everything he does. His debate performance on Wednesday was abysmal, he has fired one of his campaign advisers, and now we have him opening his mouth in South Carolina and inserting his foot firmly into that same mouth.
At a South Carolina town hall where Jeb was also joined by Senator Tim Scott and Representative Trey Gowdy, this bit of nonsense came out of Bush:
“Universities ought to have skin in the game. When a student shows up, they ought to say ‘Hey, that psych major deal, that philosophy major thing, that’s great, it’s important to have liberal arts … but realize, you’re going to be working a Chick-fil-A.’”
You may begin shaking your head and chuckling.
But rather than getting mad, people took top the Internet to get even with Jebbie. A special hashtag was created on Twitter: #ThisPsychMajor. Here are some of the responses to Jeb’s indictment of psychology majors:
Jeb Bush may say that he isn’t dropping out of the GOP race for the White House, but if he can’t find a way to communicate much better than he is right now, the race may just drop him.
