Chances are that you’ve never heard of Kay Burley. Until today, I hadn’t. Kay Burley is Britain’s Megyn Kelly. She talks a lot–and at high volume–but she often says things that leave most people shaking their heads.
So Burley, who is with Sky News in England, decided that the best way to show her sorrow over the terrorist attacks in Paris would be to tweet out this:
Thus began the creation of a hashtag to level out Ms. Burley’s karma: #SadnessInHisEyes. And the posts, as you might guess, have been nothing short of hilarious and right on point:

So here’s some friendly advice to anyone who wants to equate the tragedy of 129 lives lost in a terrorist attack to the sadness in a dog’s eyes: Don’t do it. Unless, of course, you want to be taken down on social media and ridiculed for weeks to come.
