Heroic Ted Cruz Boldly Promises To ‘Kill The Terrorists’

GOP presidential candidate Ted Cruz boldly promises to “kill the terrorists” in a pair of new ads that were released in Iowa over the weekend.

Both of the short ads were aired on Saturday night during the Big 10 Conference’s college football championship game and seem designed to specifically showcase Cruz’s leadership skills.

In the first of the pair of ads presidential hopeful Cruz claims:

“If I’m elected to serve as commander in chief, we won’t cower in the face of evil.”

The ads come at a much needed time for Cruz, who is trailing behind rival presidential candidates in recent polls, and it seems he is hoping that playing on his determination to stop ISIS will result in a bigger following.

Cruz certainly talks the talk in the first of the two short videos as he promises:

“America will lead. We’ll rebuild our military. We’ll kill the terrorists. And every Islamic militant will know, if you wage jihad against us you’re signing your death warrant.”

In case this new portrayal of Cruz as a heroic warrior is too convincing the second of the ads is designed to remind us of Cruz’s upstanding moral values and features Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa) showering him with praise.

This ad shows King, who endorsed Cruz last month, claiming that for the past year he has been asking God for a “leader” who will “restore the soul of America.”

King states:

“One of them has been standing at my side time after time, and it was Senator Ted Cruz.”

Although his following has picked up slightly in Iowa, Cruz is still running behind Republican rivals Donald Trump and Ben Carson in recent polls.

Cruz is relying on his new ad campaign, which will continue to run for the next fortnight, and his new image as America’s victorious and courageous leader to win him the votes that he desperately needs if he is to win next year’s election.
