Stacey Dash Wants To Abolish Black History Month Because It’s Unfair To White People — Trump Agrees

Fox New’s unofficial expert on all issues concerning Black America, Stacey Dash, gave an eloquent and well-reasoned argument on “Fox & Friends” for abolishing Black Entertainment Television (B.E.T) and Black History month. Here’s the transcript.

STACEY DASH: We have to make up our minds. Either we want to have segregation or integration. And if we don’t want segregation, then we need to get rid of channels like B.E.T. and the B.E.T. Awards and the Image Awards where you’re only awarded if you’re black. If it were the other way around, we would be up in arms. It’s a double standard.

STEVE DOOCY (HOST): So you say there shouldn’t be a B.E.T. channel?

DASH: No, I don’t think so. No. Just like there shouldn’t be a Black History Month. You know? We’re Americans. Period. That’s it.

DOOCY: Are you saying there shouldn’t be a Black History Month because there isn’t a white history month?

DASH: Exactly. Exactly.

Later on the show, Donald Trump eluded to Dash’s comments while discussing the proposed black boycott of this year’s Academy Awards show.

“I saw somebody on your show today say, ‘What do we do with BET, Black Entertainment, right?'” Trump said. “The whites don’t get any nominations. And I thought it was an amazing interview, actually. I’ve never even thought of it from that standpoint.”

He continued: “But with all of that being said, it would certainly be nice if everybody could be represented properly. And hopefully that’s the case, but perhaps it’s not the case. It’s a difficult situation.”

They asked Trump how he felt comedian Chris Rock, who’s set to host the Academy Awards should address the backlash over the lack of diversity among nominees this year.

“I think he’ll probably say something and joke about it a little bit, and do it the way he does,” Trump said. “He’s a great guy. I know him pretty well. He’s a very good guy and a very funny guy. He’ll probably make a big issue out of it, and I think that’s fine. Let it be known.”

Trump mentions that he’d seen “numerous” black actors receive awards in the past.

“This is not one of those years, but over the years I’ve seen numerous black actors and African-American actors receive Academy Awards,” Trump said. “And I think that’s great.”

He added: “It’s a difficult situation. And when Al Sharpton’s jumping up and down, people say, ‘Well, give me a break.'”

Like many, I too used to get worked up over the nutty things Dash has said over the years. But this tweet puts things into perspective.
