Chilling Images Of Winter Storm Jonas At The Tomb Of The Unknown

Winter storm Jonas has wreaked havoc along the East Coast. With at least 31 people reported dead because of Jonas, it has also affected more than 80-million Americans. While the storm may have kept many from work and going about life as normal, there are a special group of men that take no days off no matter the weather or circumstances, the Tomb Guards that stand watch over the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

An unbroken chain of soldiers that dates back to 1926, Tomb Guards come from the 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment “The Old Guard.” Hand picked and rigorously trained, not even a storm like Jonas could stop these dedicated men from doing their duty.

With a sense of honor and pride, these chilling images from Arlington National Cemetery, that overlooks Washington, D.C., show the undaunted dedication that these soldiers possess.
