Pres. Barack Obama has some pretty strong words about a Donald Trump presidency. In his mind, it doesn’t — and can’t — exist.
“I continue to believe that Mr Trump will not be president. And the reason is because I have a lot of faith in the American people,”
“It’s not hosting a talk show or a reality show, it’s not promotion, it’s not marketing, it’s hard. It’s not a matter of pandering and doing whatever will get you in the news on a given day.”
“It’s hard. And a lot of people count on us getting it right.”
“It’s doing things that are unpopular. And standing up for people who are vulnerable but don’t have some powerful political constituency.”
And the camera keeps rolling and the president keeps talking. It’s very moving.

Billionaire businessman Donald Trump has been the GOP frontrunner throughout this election season. He has already won a state primary (New Hampshire), come in second in another (Iowa), and is leading going into South Carolina on Saturday.
I lack the president’s faith in the American people. I do believe that Donald Trump will probably be the Republican Party’s nominee, and if we’re not diligent in turning out the vote, I believe he certainly could be our next president.
