Leave it to social media to have a field day with the remaining GOP candidates in ways that are unique to the phenomenon we know as Twitter.
In recent days, the hashtag #GOPMovies has been exploding, and the results are nothing short of hilarious.
All of this started when the Comedy Central show @midnight sent out this tweet:
“For all we know, #GOPMovies are our future! Check out these examples and give us your own!”
How big has the #GOPMovies hashtag gotten? The hashtag is being tweeted out about 20 times per minute, according to the social media analytics firm Zoomph.
