This Photo Of Ted Cruz From His High School Yearbook Will Really Creep You Out

Safe to say that Texas Senator Ted Cruz is not your normal kind of guy. He’s more than a tiny bit creepy, and it would appear that virtually no one in Washington can stand him.

But should you think Cruz’s odd behavior and ways are something he developed as part of his political makeup, think again. This dude has been bizarre for as long as anyone can remember.

NPR recently reported that while Cruz was a student at Second Baptist High School:

“Cruz loved being on stage, even if it meant being the villain. In junior high school, he had played Rolfe, the young Nazi in ‘The Sound of Music.’ He landed the role of the murderer Bill Sikes in ‘Oliver. during high school.

But now we have yet another chapter in the strange odyssey of Teddy Boy Cruz in the form of this yearbook photo showing Cruz in yet another theatrical production. In it, he played the role of the first man in the Bible, Adam, done up in mime face and looking like something you’d see in a horrible nightmare: Check this out:

I’m kinda surprised Cruz didn’t insist on playing God, aren’t you? Afterall, this guy thinks he has been ordained by God to be President, as Mark Neath, who took this bizarre photo of Cruz recalls:

“I do distinctly remember him boasting that he would become president one day. That’s my greatest memory of him, in fact, since that was a pretty unusual life ambition for a high school student.”

Unusual? Yeah, that’s Ted Cruz. And absolutely nothing has changed in the years since high school.
