On Saturday in Molenbeek, Belgium, which had some connection to the men who carried out the attacks in Brussels and Paris, an anti-Islam rally was held. And an innocent woman was struck by a man in a car. Her crime: She was wearing a Muslim head covering.
In the disturbing and graphic video, which was shot from above, the woman can be seen walking across the street before being hit from the side by an Audi automobile which is driven by a man who appears to be filming it by holding a cellphone out of the driver’s side window.
The driver, after hitting the woman, sped up and raced around police barricades. He was later apprehended by authorities.
According to police, the woman who was struck by the car was momentarily unconscious. She was later rushed to a nearby hospital where she is being treated for serious injuries.
Since the March 22 bombings in Brussels which took the lives of 32 people, the capital city has been beset by numerous protests against Muslims.
