Clinton Flashes Her Dem Card Attempting To Undermine Bernie’s Democratic Support Base

The peace treaty has been broken.  The easing of hostility is over. War has officially broken out in the Democratic Party. It seems that Hillary Clinton has come right out and called Bernie Sanders a poser. Bloomberg Politics reported that at a campaign event in Eau Claire, Wisconsin on Saturday, Clinton said:

“I am also a Democrat and have been a proud Democrat all my adult life. And I think that’s kind of important if we’re selecting someone to be the Democratic nominee of the Democratic Party.”

Clinton went on to talk about her support for Democratic candidates in other areas of government. She talked about the fact that she has raised millions of dollars, through The Hillary Victory Fund. This joint super-PAC raises money that is shared between the Clinton campaign, the DNC, and 33 state party committees. Clinton referenced this fund as proof that she is the “real” Democrat.

In contrast to this seeming generosity, Sanders has not yet shared his donated money with either the DNC or candidates for lower offices.

Clinton’s campaign has seemingly decided that it is time to turn up the heat on her tenacious rival. She spoke pointedly about the fact (thus far mostly ignored) that Sanders is not actually a member of the Democratic Party. He is an Independent member of Congress who caucuses with the Dems.

When asked about Clinton’s comments, Sanders didn’t seem overly concerned. When asked by ABC’s This Week, Sanders said:

“My response is, I think the Secretary is getting very nervous.”

Sanders shrugged off the criticism and declared himself a Democrat right now.

No one is talking about the fact that unless a candidate is a member of one of the major parties, it is virtually impossible to get any media coverage. It is absolutely impossible to be invited to participate in any of the debates.

Anyone want to talk about Jill Stein and the Green Party?
