Brits Explain Why ‘President Trump’ Scares Them Sh*tless (Video)

Think you’ve got issues with Trump’s (lack of) foreign policy and diplomacy? Here’s a word or two from the people who would actually have to live with it – bombs and all.

The Guardian, one of Great Britain’s leading newspapers, has posted a video giving us a little insight into how the rest of the world feels. Check it out below.

Make no mistake: under that proper British calm, they are panic-stricken:

“Not only could a President Donald J. Trump change America beyond repair, but his presidency would have serious repercussions for the rest of the world… Islamophobia would be state policy in the most powerful state in the world.”

The video details his openness to using nuclear weapons in Europe and the Middle East, and his suggestions that Japan and Saudi Arabia should join the nuclear club.

“If Trump actually makes it to the White House, there’s only one thing you can predict about this wholly unpredictable man. There’ll be a surge of what people will call anti-American-ism. People will mock the nation as dumb, vulgar, and aggressive. It’ll be like it was in the George W. Bush years, only much, much worse.”

The video points out it’s not America they hate. It’s Trump, like it was Bush a decade before. And do we really want to go back to that?

“The truth is, the world is fascinated by America. When they’re given the chance, they can love it. Look at the gushing adoration that greeted Obama’s election. So don’t get this wrong. Donald Trump is stirring fear and loathing across the globe. But it’s not America we fear, it’s not America we loathe. It’s Donald Trump.”

Let’s do the world a solid and keep Trump (aka George W. Bush on steroids) out of the White House, for everyone’s sake.
