It’s a tale as old as time — middle school teacher watches explicit material in class, gets busted, goes apeshit on the student who caught him, then gets suspended.
Okay, maybe it’s not a tale as old as time, but there is no way something like this hasn’t happened before.
13-year-old Jeffrey Province of Mossy Bank East Bank Middle School in East Bank, West Virginia was the first student to enter his math class on Tuesday, catching a glimpse of his teacher, Thomas Yohn, watching “something no 13-year-old should ever see in a school.”
There has been no word as to whether or not Mr. Yohn was accompanied by Palm-ela Handerson or not.
Young Mr. Province said he told the principal about to what he had unfortunately bore witness and that Mr. Yohn barged into his English class later that day to confront him.
Another student in Young Mr. Province’s English class recorded the confrontation. The disgruntled middle school teacher waltzed into Young Mr. Province’s English class — accompanied by a woman who this writer assumes is part of the school’s administrative staff — and begins berating the student in a manner that this writer only assumes can happen in West Virginia.
“Next time you open your big stinking mouth pal I will write you up and send you to the office for coming into my room without permission. Is that clear? What I watch as an adult is my choice. You, as a child, wait in the hall until you’re invited into my room. Is that clear?
How many times have I made this clear to you now?… Keep going… The fifth time, you get written up!… I’m not putting up with this and he tried to blackmail me! He said, ‘oh, Mr. Yohn, I’m going to get an A this quarter or I’m going to tell that you’re watching inappropriate things on TV and I saw it. So go ahead, tell. Isn’t that what I told you to do? Now I’m telling you, you keep your big flap shut…
Because I’m a grown up and can watch whatever I want. And if you ever step foot in my room again without permission, it’ll be the last time you step foot in my room. Is that clear?”
Young Mr. Province claims he never tried to extort an A from Mr. Yohn, but you know what they say: snitches get verbal stitches.
Young Mr. Province’s mother, Carmelene Short, said no one from the school informed her of the incident. She instead had to find out about it on social media.
“His Grandpa said you need to get on Facebook and watch this video and when I did I was shocked.”
According to WOWK-TV, East Bank’s CBS affiliate, East Bank Middle School, the Kanawha County Board of Education, and the West Virginia State Board of Education are all aware of the incident and are investigating. Suffice it to say, Mr. Yohn’s future as a middle school teacher in East Bank hangs delicately on the outcome of the investigation.
But for now, Mr. Yohn can enjoy fapping in the comfort of his own home.
