Sanders And Clinton Prepare To Face Off In The NY Primary

The Bernie Sanders campaign is refusing to lose any energy, and Sanders’ determination is proof of it. As Today News reported, Sanders said:

“Pundits told me that when we began this campaign there would be no chance that we would go anywhere — well, here we are, having won eight out of the nine last caucuses and primaries,” the passionate senator said. “We have a message that is resonating all over this country. We have enthusiasm, we have energy. People understand it’s too late for establishment politics and economics. They want real change in this country.”

The Sanders campaign made sure to take advantage of emails blasts the Sunday night before the New York primaries. Emails were sent out that divulged new poll numbers, revealing Sanders as being within 6 points of Hillary Clinton.

On Monday, Sanders announced his support for an act that would permit Americans to sue Saudi Arabia over the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

Although the bill is opposed by the Obama administration, it is an important piece of legislation for the families of 9/11 victims who believe Saudi officials contributed to the attacks.

While advocating the law, Sanders emphasized that it is crucial to possess a full understanding of the “the possible role of the Saudi government in 9/11.”

Clinton, on the other hand, spent her time welcoming recently-unionized workers at a New York car wash during her last day of campaigning before the primary. As the presidential candidate greeted the workers, she highlighted them as examples of how “real change happens.”

The former secretary of state made reference to Sanders’ perceived impossible idea of a political revolution when discussing the workers’ accomplishment with a crowd.

“It didn’t happen overnight,” she told the crowd. “You work at it every day.”

Although a political revolution seems unreachable, Sanders’ campaign is determined to stop at nothing in order to enlighten politicians and others who have been corrupted by today’s systems. Sanders has his eye on the prize and is continuously fighting to push through the once unbreakable political system.
