This mother gave birth in the back of her car, so she is asking for a new car. Seriously? This is ridiculous!
Yes, having a baby is a special event, but she doesn’t deserve a free car for it. However, this tweet of hers has gone viral. It has been retweeted over 18,000 times and liked over 31,000 times.

Honda has offered to pay for a car cleaning and seat replacements. Some people replied saying that Honda should give in and get her a car. Many people say that this is probably a marketing ploy.
Newell ended up giving birth in the car while on the way to the hospital. Her husband and doula were in the car with her. They barely made it five minutes down the road before the baby came out.
She said she wasn’t expecting to get anything out of the tweet. She was just making a joke about it. I hope she really was joking.

I’m glad this woman has a happy, healthy baby, but that doesn’t entitle her to free stuff.
Who is she? She is a comedian from New York. She is responsible for the site Reductress, which is a feminist satire website. It is a parody of other women’s magazines such as Cosmopolitan and Shape. It is actually really hilarious.
My particular favorite headline is “Awkward Sex Moves To Show Off Your Abstinence-Only Sex Education.” Also, there is, “Girl Who Is ‘Up For Whatever’ Is Secretly Only Up For a Handful of Specific Things.”
