A Georgia man is facing assault charges after ramming an 82-year-old black woman with his car after yelling racial slurs at her. He was impatient because the woman was taking too long to get to her car.
Ira McPherson was assisting her 82-year-old mother-in-law, Joan Wilson, in the Red & White Jones Food Market. Evidently, 65-year-old Sherman Crow got upset when McPherson pulled her car in front of the store to help Wilson, who was using a walker.
Crow began shouting racial slurs such as, “you n*gger bitch,” and rammed McPherson’s vehicle repeatedly. He hit the car hard enough for the airbags to deploy.
An officer who was escorting Crow to the police car said that he could smell alcohol on Crow’s breath. Both McPherson and Wilson sustained minor injuries.
Crow was charged with reckless driving, reckless conduct, disorderly conduct, making terroristic threats, aggravated assaults, and driving with a high blood-alcohol content.
Wilson said:
“My daughter-in-law was just helping me so I didn’t have to use my walker. He just started yelling. I was stunned. It was shocking.”
This is not the first time Crow had done this. He was arrested on similar charges after yelling racial slurs at a Subway employee when he was refused service. Crow was visibly drunk and admitted to drinking right before the incident.
Sadly, this is not the worst racist incident we’ve experienced recently. A woman in Florida faced assault charges when she chased a black kid with a baseball bat. Lisa Marie Elberson became angry when the kids had a dispute with her husband.
Video of the incident shows Elberson yelling racial slurs at the kids. She even said:
“I’ll hang your family from a tree.”
There is also the point to be made for never saying the N-word — ever. It is not okay to use this nasty word towards black people. This lady has a good lesson about the word that you can view below.
